Sport-specific exercise therapy
Sport-specific exercise therapy
What is sports rehabilitation and sport-specific training:
Competition athletes and trainers are also often forced to pause their favorite sport due to a sudden injury. The cause of the injury can be overload, weak musculature, movement in the wrong posture, impaired functional balance of muscles, lack of flexibility, or even unpreparedness.
For athletes, in addition to technical preparation, fitness and effective muscle work is required to enhance performance, one part of this is muscle strengthening and another part is achieving adequate flexibility. In addition to relieving pain at the Movement Clinic, we reinstate the athlete back to the given activity with sport-specific training. Functional and biomechanical approach helps our therapists to compile an individual therapy program for our athletes as well. During sports rehabilitation TRX, plyobox and agility ladder also assist in developing functional muscle function. Exercises are enriched with proprioceptive training that can be performed on a jumper, dynair. With the help of our cardio machine, we also develop endurance.
